I am very excited to write about wine. I hope to clarify its benefits and help you better understand all aspects of wine consumption without the pretentious and condescending atmosphere that often surrounds the topic. It is my intention to teach you how to read a wine list, how to select a proper pairing and discuss wine terroir in general. Dietitians rarely discuss alcohol, except to emphasize moderation. I want to shed some light on the positive aspects of wine consumption from a dietitian’s perspective.
